She is also campaigning "Azariah HP," a Friesian Sport Horse Stallion owned and bred by Sherry and Jon Koella from Dandridge, TN to the FEI levels while developing some of his young offspring as well.

Jocelyn is a Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist in the USDF and an active competitor at the FEI levels. Most recently, Jocelyn was selected to commentate the CDI World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix MFS class at the prestigious Dressage at Devon horse show.

She has participated in the "L" Program for USDF judging and has judged locally to support the horse community.

Jocelyn played Division 1 rugby for Michigan State University and later went on to get her MBA in Finance from the University of Tennessee where she met her husband, Matt. Together they have two children, Jack and Jimmy, who live at the farm. Clients that train with Jocelyn benefit from the warm, family-friendly facility they have created that is both welcoming and supportive to enjoy their time with their horses.

Family History

Colonel A.L. Gatewood

Jocelyn "Gatewood" Gentry is a third generation horseman, going back to the early 1900's when her paternal grandfather, "The Colonel," ran one of the most widely known wild west shows called the Flying X Rodeo from Montana. The family rodeo featured her aunt Shirley as their star trick rider while her uncles and other cowboys rode broncs. John Wayne, The Lone Ranger and Tonto were all guests of the show. Most notoriously, Jocelyn's grandfather helped teach Roy Rogers how to ride horses, before he later went on to cowboy stardom in Hollywood, CA. Jocelyn's father also worked for the rodeo until the age of 14, when her grandfather passed away and the business was sold. In 2027 the Flying X Rodeo was inducted into the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame.
