Lessons and Training

Gentry Sport Horses offers lessons from beginner to advanced in the sports of dressage and eventing by appointment only. Don't own a horse? No problem, borrow a school horse. We have the best school horses in the area!  

2020 Lesson Rates: 

$75/45 min. private lesson

$60/45 min. semi private/group lesson

GSH Package: 

Boarders/leasers only

$350 for 7 lessons or training rides on a horse you own/lease. Subject to scheduling as a private or group.

GSH Gold Package: 

Boarders/leasers only

$375 for 7 lessons or training rides on a horse you own/lease. Private Lessons only.

Basic Package:

School Horse

$375 for 7 lessons. For clients that need to borrow a horse. Subject to scheduling as private or group.

Platinum package:

School Horse

$425 for 7 lessons. For clients that need to borrow a horse. Private lessons only.

**All Lesson Packages must be used within two months of purchase and paid for in advance of the first lesson.

**24 hour lesson cancellation policy. Your lesson will be charged in full without 24 hours notice of any cancellation. 

Gentry Sport Horses offers Training Board  for horses of all ages and skill levels in the sports of Dressage and Eventing. Horses at this facility are required to be in at least Partial Training (2x/week). 

2021 Training Board Rates: 

• Training Board (2x week)

$1,250/month

• Partial Training Board (3x week)

$1,350/month

• Full Training Board (4-5x week)

$1,600/month

We have an active show schedule throughout the year. Most horse shows are attended in the PA, NJ, MD, and VA areas. We attend both local and recognized shows to offer a level of competition for everyone!

Coaching Rates vary depending on number of students and mileage for shipping 

$1.00/mile ($40 minimum). Contact Jocelyn for details.

Our Beautiful New Facility has:

• Lighted indoor arena with fiber footing and mirrors
• 100x200 outdoor arena with regularly groomed footing. 
• 12x12 spacious box stalls w/ mats
• 8 large grass fields for turn out
• Dry lots for all weather turn out
• Indoor Heated Wash Stall
• On-site owner/head trainer

Trailer In Ride: $20/horse
